For the Single Parent

           For the women who choose to parent, there is a need for growth in many areas in order to provide a healthy atmosphere in the home. SonRays Ministries offers single mothers and their children a monthly Single Moms' Fellowship designed to encourage growth in the single parent family and give the Christian community an opportunity to share Christ's love with the mothers we minister to. Our single mothers look forward to attending each month.

            Area churches choose one month each year to host a Fellowship. They begin at 1:00pm and end at 3:30pm. During this time our host churches provide:

• a light luncheon for the women and the children
• a song or two that will minister to the women
• a women's Bible teaching
• a hand-out containing relevant scripture verses and/or themes taught
• a craft for the women
• men and women to provide love and care for the young children
• name tags for the children and their belongings

       Our host church members often comment on what a blessing it is to be involved in this part of the ministry.
